Temecula Valley

About Our Chapter

NCL, Inc., Temecula Valley Chapter is a group of mothers and daughters who have come together in a commitment to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences.
Members shall reside in or attend school in the Temecula or Murrieta area. Like all NCL, Inc. Chapters, Temecula Valley aims to foster the mother-daughter relationship by serving its communities together.

The Temecula Valley Chapter of National Charity League, Inc. (established in 2013) currently has over 250 active members and sustainers who volunteer at over 17 philanthropic organizations in Southern California.  Our members contributed thousands of volunteer hours in our community last year.

Our goal is to promote a sense of community responsibility in our daughters and strengthen our bond while growing together, sharing of ourselves, and improving our community.  The daughters, along with their mothers, participate in a 6-year educational program of philanthropic work, leadership training, educational activities, and cultural events.

We are so proud to be recognized by the 2020-2021 NCL Chapter Recognition Program. Our Temecula Valley Chapter received the highest achievement of the Blue Rose Award. Not only did we complete our annual requirements but we participated in #GivingTuesday and the national philanthropy program as well as held events for our Sustainers. Congratulations to all of the members of the Temecula Valley Chapter of NCL for your commitment to creating a strong chapter for our community!

OUR CHAPTER’S HISTORY

On May 20, 2013, National Charity League, Inc., Temecula Valley Chapter was born!   Our Founding President, Jacqueline Hunter, was a NCL, Inc. Ticktocker in her hometown of Whittier, California.  After settling in Temecula, she could not believe that we didn’t have a chapter here.  With 3 daughters, she wanted to have the same “NCL Inc.  Experience” with the girls and give them those lifetime friends that she make with her Ticktocker class.  Jacqueline reached out to National Charity League Inc. Headquarters, and they also had another lady who was interested in the area, Juliet Grossman. The rest is history! We began assembling a “dream team” who became our fabulous founding Board of Directors.

Over the years we have been working to create the foundation for a new National Charity League, Inc., Temecula Valley Chapter. From the early formation meeting held on May 20, 2013, we have grown in membership, partnered philanthropies, education, and experiences.  Our Temecula Valley Chapter is strong and healthy! We will be thriving and impacting mothers, and daughters and our community for generations to come.

Senior Recognition and Chapter Tea

NCL, Inc.  chapters hold annually a Senior Recognition event to honor the 12th grade Ticktockers upon their completion of the NCL, Inc. Experience Six-year Core Program. This is a special event that highlights those that are a part of the graduating class.

Our annual Chapter Tea event is a time honored National Charity League, Inc. tradition.  Each year at our Mother-Daughter Tea, it is paired with our Jr. Showcase Fashion Show.  This day allows us to spend a lovely afternoon with our Ticktocker daughter who have been instructed about tea etiquette in our Six Year Program.  Our junior class has the opportunity to participate in our fashion show where the focus is on our girls being confidant, young women who have learned the value of etiquette and poise.
